The design of processes and procedures with different complexity is
done in the Web Architect using a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Visual control helps managers better understand the business logic of
their company processes. Managers can use simple Java scripts,
when the need to define a more complex procedures occurs. Full
integration with Teamwork.Cubes allows you work with the same users
and groups. Notification, tasks and events are received
directly in Teamwork.Cubes.
The introduction of “roles” makes changes to the business easier to
manage, by separating the business logic from company structure.
Storing of predefined procedures and parts of procedures helps in the
reuse of process definitions and makes implementation quicker and
easier.
The Workflow.Cubes follows the OMG Workflow specifications, and is
written in pure Java, it also follows the modified version of Apache
Avalon Framework
The Task Manager is a rule-based engine. It has a separate fact base and
rule base for reuse of common rules for every user in the system,
delivered to the system by Teamwork.Cubes
Rules are Java classes similar to Java Servlets, which can be extended to
reflect every situation in business. The configuration of the
server is in XML format. The server can communicate arbitrarily
with other software systems with the help of XML, CORBA and Java Messaging
Services (JMS) protocols
